Gossaigaon College organised sapling plantation programme in connection with observation of World Environment Day on 5th June 2022. Mr. Dhananjay Brahma, vice Principal, Gossaigaon College, inaugurated the plantation programme by planting a sapling in the college campus. Mr. Pradip Kumar Das, HOD, Dept. of Political Science, Mr. PraneswarBasumatary, HOD, Dept. of Botany, Mr. Manash Barman, HOD, Dept, of Physics, Dr, Daud Chandra Baro, Dept. of Zoology and student community also participated in the programme and around three hundred variety of saplings were planted within the college campus.
